పున్నమి రాత్రి తారలన్నీ అలిగిన వేళ
గుబురు చెట్లు గాలికి కదలి వయ్యారం పోతుంటే
పచ్చని ఆకులు పరవశించి తాళం వేస్తుంటే
స్వర్గమే పైరగాలిఅయి నన్ను చుట్టివేసి
ఓల లాడిస్తూ నన్ను మైమరిపించింది
మరల కళ్ళు తెరచి చూద్దునా
ఎరుపెక్కిన అకాశం
తారలన్ని మాయం భయపడి
వెచ్చదనం పులుముకున్న పైరగాలి
తమ నీడను వెతుకులాడుతూ గుబురు చెట్లు

Shut your mouth and stop suporting the stupid statement the congress government is making.All congress leaders are licking sonias feet ,just because they want to be in power.If you are a real hindu protest it ,I dont mean you to support BJP or RSS but atleast save your individuality.If you take away RAMA and Hinuism from india all that left will be ashes

Above are the amusing comments left by some anonymous reader to my previous post about Ram and my support to UPA for issuing such statement. I am a Hindu by birth but I am not very proud to be called one, because the purpose any religion is to unite people and make their lives more enjoyable. I bet Hinduism was doing the same and is intended to do the same now, but we divided our religion into multiple casts and even barred some of the casts from entering temples. I reckon for any religion temple is a place to show your unity and show your goodness to the world, there every one should be equal which is not true in our temples. If any hindu temple is not restricting people based on their cast, they are dividing them based on their financial capacity( The best example is TTD).

Coming to these comments "If you take away RAMA and Hinuism from india all that left will be ashes", I really don't know what to say about these comments, because the comment itself is a big joke. Let me explain. Even considering Mr. Ram existed and he was a good king, what have we learned from him except making him a political figure and destroying integrity of this country over his temple. If Mr. Ram was the person, people had described him, he would never accept anything like this to happen in this country, he might have rubbished Ram Sethu issue even he had built it him self. Ultimately the goal of any good king is to give good to people and his country.

I still stick to my opinion about the government's short lived claim. It's bad that they had to eat their words over this issue. I repeat my statement that "Hinduism is not a religion, its a way of life". All the hue and cry over Ram Sethu is a political gimmick and its not at all an issue. We have much bigger problems to solve in this country like education and child labor. Let me conclude this post by saying, "I am hindu and I will be an hindu for my life treating Hinduism as a way of living life".

Govt says no proof Ram existed

This is a most welcoming course of action taken by this government. I really appreciate UPA government for showing their guts by issuing this statement and hope supreme count will also support and appreciate this. Now coming to the RSS and co. I hope they stick to the statement "Hinduism is not a religion its a way of living" issued by Mr. Sudarshan(RSS chief), I was and I am in total agreement with his statement. Hope RSS and co. will come to their senses and will not do anything to retaliate actions taken by government. If they are still dumb and want to retaliate, I beg them to choose something else other than blocking roads to show their opposition in this matter.

Madness and Belief

I believe there is a very thin line between madness and a strong belief. I came to this conclusion after seeing today's events, where BJP/VHP literally stopping the nation by making a big issue about Ram Sethu a water merged structure, which people believe was built by Mr. Ram a king in ancient times and now treated as god in this country and political parties get elected using his name.

In our country every one looks for a conflict to come on to roads, it may be political party or some group of people, we forgot any other meaningful way to resolve conflicts. Every time this thing happens I try to understand and give a rational explanation to myself but so far I never been able to convince myself. Every time such things happen supreme court asks government about the action taken on the political parties or people who made all this mess and caused loss to nation. I don't remember seeing any response or action from government. The funny thing in this whole matter is some parties (left parties) argue that its their right to do so. I wonder what kind people we are having as leaders in this country, I reckon most of them deserve to be treated for mental disorders if they are not to be put in jail.

A shameless act

I am speechless and totally unable to understand the reason behind the bomb blasts happened in Hyderabad. The location which they have chosen for blasts has no political or economical impotence. What they wanted to achieve or prove by killing those innocent people? Who ever behind this act or had supported should be crucified and hanged to death in public view.

Prime Minister's Speech on 15th Aug,2007

"We are committed to the economic, social, political and educational empowerment of SCs, STs, OBCs and minorities. Apart from effective implementation of all existing reservations for them, we have announced major scholarship and development programmes for their benefit. I am happy to say that we have been able to persuade the private sector to some extent to take affirmative action to ensure that these sections of society get a fair share of employment in industry and trade."

The above given is part of prime minister's speech on Independence day. If I am not wrong the people(Mittal and co.) who represented private sector companies said a plain "NO" to government on this matter. Correct me if I am wrong.

Dog Day Afternoon

As usual I was spending my weekend watching DVDs, then I suddenly I found this AL Pacino movie "Dog Day Afternoon". I would say this is father ()of all hostage drama I have seen so far. Its funny in a way and very entertaining. With this movie I had a well spent Sunday after noon.

For those who don't know Al Pacino, he is the Scar face guy and the guy who acted the title role in God Father III, what a gifted actor he is, splendid performances. Coming to the story of the movie its a quite simple, two(actually three; watch the movie to find out what happened to the third one) disparate guys tries to rob a bank and found themselves with almost empty safe and bunch of ladies who work in that back as hostages(obviously police come into the seen), then starts the cat and mouse play. The way its been presented is great and some way it reflects 1972 American society. Watch this movie you will like it

“The population is divided into vertical compartments of provinces, tribes, clans, casts, and sub-castes. People generally do not vote out across these compartments or across their tribe, caste, or clan boundaries. The existing system creates the illusion of democracy because we do have election; but we forget that elections are but a tool of democracy an end in themselves. Though the above statement is written by a dictator (Mr. Musharraf) about Pakistan, the same statement is very true for our country. In the 60 years of independence we have been ruled by a family for 35 years (I may have to add 3 more years for Mr.Singh regime) and by a party for 40+ years which the family represents (I may have to say the party represents the 'Gandhi&Nehru' family).

The perfect example is recent UP election verdict, the lady who has just been elected by UP people is a shameless corrupt. The government at center is run by multiple people with conflicting interests. Recently Mr. Singh has issued a statement saying that rich people in the country should restrain from showing their wealth, which may cause revolution in poor. I have a question to Mr. Singh what about the tax payers, they are paying tax with the hope government will do something to improve the lives of non-privileged people by providing opportunities, but more than half of the tax payers money going into pockets of corrupted politicians and officials. I think he should concentrate on spending the tax payers money properly instead of talking like a communist. What if all the tax payers in the country denies to pay tax because the money which they are paying from their hard earned money is going into the pockets of some crooks.

Political solution to India's problems

According to me we still have a political solution to all the problems we are facing in this country. I reckon the only thing we need to change this country is political literacy. You people from educated society believes and lives in a myth, that you don't need politics and feels pride in saying you 'hate politics', which is totally wrong and nothing but your political illiteracy. We are living in largest democracy and enjoying freedom, which comes along with. But we are ignoring and escaping from our basic responsibility of participating in democracy, we are literally trying to escape from reality, which does not make any sense. People who are participating in our democracy (voting) are mostly illiterate and innocent people who can be lured and betrayed by politicians. In my opinion political party is an entity and a group of people with a good idea but now in India almost no political party fulfills this basic definition nor working with an idea. So who is responsible for this situation? Without any doubt the educated society is responsible for this situation and our ignorance costing greatly to this nation and its democratic system. The quick solution to this problem is just to come out of your illusions. You need not be a politician to change this system, just by being a citizen you can bring a change. You just have to care about this system not to ignore it. Yes that can make a great difference to this country and its people.
