అహొ ఒహొ అని పొగిడి
బహు బాగున్నదని బుజం తట్టి
మరింతగా రాయమని చెప్పి
రాతలో పడి వాసి మరవొద్దని గుర్తుచేసి
జాలువారుతున్న అక్షరాలకు స్పూర్తిగా
ప్రతి నిత్యం నాతో ఉంటూ
అనుభవాలను పంచుతూ
నాలో ఉన్న నువ్వేవరు అసలు?
మనసువా? మనసు ఒక ఊహే నిజం కాదే?
ఆ నువ్వు నా అలోచనవు కదూ?

A shameless act

I am speechless and totally unable to understand the reason behind the bomb blasts happened in Hyderabad. The location which they have chosen for blasts has no political or economical impotence. What they wanted to achieve or prove by killing those innocent people? Who ever behind this act or had supported should be crucified and hanged to death in public view.

Prime Minister's Speech on 15th Aug,2007

"We are committed to the economic, social, political and educational empowerment of SCs, STs, OBCs and minorities. Apart from effective implementation of all existing reservations for them, we have announced major scholarship and development programmes for their benefit. I am happy to say that we have been able to persuade the private sector to some extent to take affirmative action to ensure that these sections of society get a fair share of employment in industry and trade."

The above given is part of prime minister's speech on Independence day. If I am not wrong the people(Mittal and co.) who represented private sector companies said a plain "NO" to government on this matter. Correct me if I am wrong.

Dog Day Afternoon

As usual I was spending my weekend watching DVDs, then I suddenly I found this AL Pacino movie "Dog Day Afternoon". I would say this is father ()of all hostage drama I have seen so far. Its funny in a way and very entertaining. With this movie I had a well spent Sunday after noon.

For those who don't know Al Pacino, he is the Scar face guy and the guy who acted the title role in God Father III, what a gifted actor he is, splendid performances. Coming to the story of the movie its a quite simple, two(actually three; watch the movie to find out what happened to the third one) disparate guys tries to rob a bank and found themselves with almost empty safe and bunch of ladies who work in that back as hostages(obviously police come into the seen), then starts the cat and mouse play. The way its been presented is great and some way it reflects 1972 American society. Watch this movie you will like it

“The population is divided into vertical compartments of provinces, tribes, clans, casts, and sub-castes. People generally do not vote out across these compartments or across their tribe, caste, or clan boundaries. The existing system creates the illusion of democracy because we do have election; but we forget that elections are but a tool of democracy an end in themselves. The above system always gives power to small elite group comprises of feudal leaders.”

Though the above statement is written by a dictator (Mr. Musharraf) about Pakistan, the same statement is very true for our country. In the 60 years of independence we have been ruled by a family for 35 years (I may have to add 3 more years for Mr.Singh regime) and by a party for 40+ years which the family represents (I may have to say the party represents the 'Gandhi&Nehru' family).

The perfect example is recent UP election verdict, the lady who has just been elected by UP people is a shameless corrupt. The government at center is run by multiple people with conflicting interests. Recently Mr. Singh has issued a statement saying that rich people in the country should restrain from showing their wealth, which may cause revolution in poor. I have a question to Mr. Singh what about the tax payers, they are paying tax with the hope government will do something to improve the lives of non-privileged people by providing opportunities, but more than half of the tax payers money going into pockets of corrupted politicians and officials. I think he should concentrate on spending the tax payers money properly instead of talking like a communist. What if all the tax payers in the country denies to pay tax because the money which they are paying from their hard earned money is going into the pockets of some crooks.

Political solution to India's problems

According to me we still have a political solution to all the problems we are facing in this country. I reckon the only thing we need to change this country is political literacy. You people from educated society believes and lives in a myth, that you don't need politics and feels pride in saying you 'hate politics', which is totally wrong and nothing but your political illiteracy. We are living in largest democracy and enjoying freedom, which comes along with. But we are ignoring and escaping from our basic responsibility of participating in democracy, we are literally trying to escape from reality, which does not make any sense. People who are participating in our democracy (voting) are mostly illiterate and innocent people who can be lured and betrayed by politicians. In my opinion political party is an entity and a group of people with a good idea but now in India almost no political party fulfills this basic definition nor working with an idea. So who is responsible for this situation? Without any doubt the educated society is responsible for this situation and our ignorance costing greatly to this nation and its democratic system. The quick solution to this problem is just to come out of your illusions. You need not be a politician to change this system, just by being a citizen you can bring a change. You just have to care about this system not to ignore it. Yes that can make a great difference to this country and its people.

We don’t have right to Criticize

Yes we don’t have right to criticize Indian System because we are not part of this system and we are not even trying to participate in this system. I bet 99% people who are reading this article never seen a ballet paper or even does not have voting right that includes me. I got my voting right almost seven years back but only once I had used my vote and never seen EVM, now I am not even a registered voter. We are the people who discuss and criticize the state of our system but never try to change what is wrong in this system. We all want some one to come and change this system and politics for our good. But even when some one comes to our rescue we people never come out and encourage them. The only thing we have to do to change this system and this country is just stop considering election day as extension to your weekend and cast your vote. I reckon India should be one of those countries where casting vote is mandatory for every qualified citizen and the candidates only be declared as winner only when they get >50% votes.
